Sonvä est un projet fictif axé sur la création d'une identité graphique et de maquettes d'interface web pour une marque de textiles d’intérieur biosourcés, conçue dans une démarche écoresponsable.
Brief
The brand offers textile accessories and interior clothing (such as towels, curtains, cushions, etc.) and wishes to target customers who are concerned about the sustainability of their products, lovers of minimalist decorations and cocooning.
The brief imposed included the creation of a minimalist and soft logo, inspired by textiles. The use of a sober and soothing palette based on beige, deep blue and light gray. And finally a fine and elegant font, if possible slightly Scandinavian.
In general, the identity had to be natural and clean, functional on digital and physical media such as a website or packaging.
Recherches
The competitive analysis reveals that most brands in the sector use a wordmark without explicitly integrating a floral pictogram. Incorporating such an element within the logotype could serve as a key differentiator in the home textile market.
Additionally, white is the dominant color among competitors. Choosing a more distinctive hue as the primary brand color could enhance Sonvä’s identity and give it a stronger personality.
Regarding website UI, competing brands tend to adopt a modern and minimalist approach. However, their strict and somewhat cold aesthetic—due to the absence of rounded elements on interface components such as cards and CTA buttons—could be reconsidered. Integrating curves and softer shapes may better align with Sonvä’s visual identity while also creating a more engaging user experience.
